About Me

I am a PhD candidate in philosophy at USC in Los Angeles, California, advised by Mark Schroeder

Currently (2024/25) I am also a Fellow of the Philosophy Department at Harvard University, where my advisor is Zoë Johnson King

Before joining a philosophy PhD program I was a math and physics high school teacher in Italy, where I got an MSc in Pure Math from Università del Salento, in Lecce.

Before that, I earned a BA with Honours in Math & Philosophy from Lancaster University, UK

Now I am mostly a moral philosopher. My current research focuses on moral psychology, responsibility, fittingness, and emotions.
